Our Program:
Every week we feature a new Charity and we share their story through YouTube, Facebook, Blogs, and Newsletters. Then we offer you with the opportunity to donate $1 to the cause and together we raise awareness and capital to help and encourage charities to continue their good work.
FAQs:
Will I be able to donate more than a dollar to a cause?
Unfortunately we don't allow more than $1donation at a time. However we do have a sponsor program.
How does the sponsor program work?
We give you the opportunity to sponsor multiple weeks, which in turn means multiple charities. Every dollar you donate equals the number of charities you help us support.
Are the charities really getting a dollar for every dollar I donate?
Yes. We practice the 100% model for donations. As you know there are administration costs and PayPal fees, however through private funding and separate fundraising efforts we personally cover those costs. We can proudly say that for every dollar donated to 1BuckStrong we donate a full dollar to the charity as if you did directly.
Why don't we donate straight to the featured charity?
We actually encourage you to do that as well as donate a buck through us. If we've encouraged you to donate to the charity directly then we've done our job! When you donate through us you also get the chance to win something in our weekly drawings and you show us that you believe in the idea of affordable giving and raising awareness.
Do I get anything in return for donating?
Every week there will be a drawing from thelist of donors. The prizes will vary and the winner will be announced the following week.
When will we find out which Charities are gonna be featured?
We will release the list of charities in June.
